Our Story
myLPA was founded with a simple mission: make Lasting Powers of Attorney accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford expensive solicitor fees.
We saw too many families struggle when a loved one lost mental capacity - facing costly Court of Protection applications because they didn't have an LPA in place. We knew there had to be a better way.
Today the document itself is free. Our online process makes it simple to create your LPA from home, and a qualified estate planner rings you to go through every answer before anything is signed.
We believe everyone deserves the peace of mind that comes from knowing their affairs are in order. The government's £92 registration fee per LPA still applies — that goes to the Office of the Public Guardian, not to us.
