Solicitor fees are typical market ranges, not a quote. The £92 registration fee is set by the government and is the same whichever route you take.

We won’t promise registration is guaranteed — the Office of the Public Guardian decides that, not us. Check calls are made by qualified estate planners in an accredited network, who pay us a fee when a service is purchased. It costs you no more, and you are never obliged to buy anything.

Is it really free, or is there a catch?
Making the LPA and the check call are free, and we email you the finished documents to print at home for nothing. The £92 to register each LPA is a government fee and goes to the Office of the Public Guardian, not to us. What we charge for is optional: £99 to print, post and check one person’s LPAs, £169 for a couple’s four documents, and £49 for a will.
What is the £92 for?
It is the fee the Office of the Public Guardian charges to register a lasting power of attorney, so it becomes legally usable. It is £92 per document. If you are on a low income or certain benefits you may pay half, or nothing.
Who rings me?
A qualified estate planner from an accredited network. The call checks your answers against how the OPG reads the forms, and takes about fifteen minutes. If your situation needs legal advice, they will tell you.
Do I need a certificate provider from you?
Often not. A friend or neighbour who has known you two years or more, and who is not family and not one of your attorneys, can do it for free. We can arrange one if you genuinely have no one, and we will explain how on your call.
What happens if the OPG rejects it?
If it is rejected for something we checked, we correct it and cover the £92 to register it again. We will not tell you it can never be rejected, because that decision is the OPG’s, not ours.
Do you cover Scotland or Northern Ireland?
No. myLPA is for England and Wales only. Scotland and Northern Ireland use different documents and a different registering body.
